Mission Statement

Reefway Waste is committed to providing waste management services that reduce and where possible eliminate adverse impacts on the environment. Reefway is mindful of its social and community obligations in providing our services and seek to comply with relevant environmental legislation and local Government regulation such as the NSW Waste Minimisation and Management Act and the Protection of the Environment Operations Acts.

Reefway will act in the following ways to specifically enhance our environmental performance

• We will actively implement systems, which prevent environmental degradation.
• We will comply fully with all legislative and regulatory environmental requirements of the relative authorities.
• Reefway will actively minimize the effects of our operations on the environment by reducing or where possible eliminating environmental impacts.
• We will undertake to train and educate our employees in relevant environmental procedures, reducing risk of environmental incidents and encourage their understanding of the aims and objectives of our policy.
• We will actively undertake to apply our stated environmental standards to our service and continually improve on those standards.
• We will continually monitor our service, plant and machinery to ensure that these components of our operations are maintained at highest environmental standard.
• We will set environmental targets consistent with our policy and review them on an annual basis.
• In developing new plant, machinery and yard facilities Reefway will consider the environmental impact of the choice as a primary concern of the purchase and/or design of that decision.
• We will seek to meet the high standards and expectations of the Community at all times and contribute to the spirit of Community expectations.

Environmental Policy

Reefway's environmental strategy is to elevate out environmental compliance to include all of our aims and operational objectives and those of our clients, while applying the principals of quality construction waste management.
